Moving. Inspiring. Proof that you're never too old to rock and roll. The Coldplay moment gave me chills. Rent this, then pass it on to your parents and grandparents. Watch the trailer - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-3uOOhm8Fj8

The Happening (2008)
2.5/5

This one was tough, I'm a big Night fan, but this one fell flat and I don't think it was just the story, I think it was the cast, Wahlberg and that girl from Almost Famous just weren't in it. It had some creepy moments, but overall...here comes the pun: It wasn't happening.

I missed it in theaters, but bought it on Blu-Ray and it's one of the faves now. One of Marvel's best, can't wait until the Avengers.

Don't Go in the Woods (1981)
0.5/5

Don't go and rent this movie. Probably one of the worst campy horror films I've seen. I tried to give a chance, we rented it along with a few classics like Friday the 13th and Halloween at a recent pre-Halloween party but it just didn't deliver...at all. Don't even pick this one up off the shelf.

The Assassination of Jesse James by the...
4.5/5

Beautiful and intense. The cinematography alone make this film a keeper. The characters are one of a kind, Pitt, Affleck and Rockwell are dead on and the pace keeps you pulled in throughout all 160 min of it. Buy it on Blu-Ray and experience the beauty therein.

Transformers (2007)
4.5/5

If you were never a fan of the Transformers as a kid, if you didn’t read the comics, watch the cartoon series and never witnessed the animated Transformers:the Movie, I believe you could still come away from the movie highly entertained and possibly even a fan awaiting the sequel. Yes, there is a sequel, Optimus Prime throws down some more positive poetry to top it off leading us to believe that they are waiting in secret to protect us and as the credits start to roll you’re left wondering if all of the Decepticons were defeated, then you see Starscream fly off into space.
